Information on legal protection in award procedures for public contracts

The following information on legal protection in the award of public contracts applies to award proceedings which began on 24 April 2009 or later, including subsequent review proceedings:
The following information on legal protection in the award of public contracts applies in respect of Section 131 (8) of the Act against Restraints of Competition, as amended by the law modernising public procurement law which came into force on 24 April 2009 (Federal Law Gazette, volume 2009, part I no. 20 of 23 April 2009), only to award proceedings which began before 24 April 2009, including subsequent review proceedings and to review proceedings which were still pending on 24 April 2009.

In respect of award proceedings which began after 24 April 2009 and any subsequent review proceedings, the following information is currently under revision.
Under the rubric “activity report” the Bundeskartellamt also provides extensive information on the legal protection available in award procedures for public contracts.
